SELECTED PROJECTS

The practice is committed to the development and continuity of the classical and traditional languages of architecture and undertakes a diverse range of projects throughout the UK, Europe and in the United States of America. The design of country houses and associated work is an important part of its portfolio, but it also undertakes the design of town houses and large urban commercial projects. Craig Hamilton specialises in sacred and monumental architecture and in particular the design of chapels, mausoleums and monuments and has collaborated extensively with Professor Alexander Stoddart, Sculptor in Ordinary to His Majesty King Charles III.

The practice is unusual in that it is often involved in the design of every aspect of these projects including fabrics, fixtures and fittings, as well as designing elements of architectural modelling and carving for incorporation into the architecture. The practice is steeped in traditional architecture of all styles and is skilled in developing designs sensitively in relationship to historic settings.
