COUNTRY HOUSES

Country Houses form a significant, award-winning, component of the practice portfolio. The practice has designed many new country houses, as well as extensions and works to historic properties including important Listed Buildings and has a successful track record at achieving planning consent, including works to Grade 1 listed buildings and National Policy Planning Framework Paragraph 79 (formerly Paragraph 55) submissions, under which new houses of exceptional design are occasionally approved to be built in rural areas. 

The practice portfolio includes country houses of different scales, dower houses, estate master planning, equestrian properties, and peripheral buildings including pool houses, chapels, memorials and garden buildings.
