Symmetrical classical courtyard façade in the Welsh hills by Craig Hamilton Architects

A HOUSE IN THE WELSH HILLS

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This historic Welsh homestead, estimated to predate the 15th-century and extended in 1650, was restored to its 17th-century character. The original vernacular house was extended in a subtle Classical idiom. The house is surrounded by a memorial garden inspired by the work of Geoffrey Bawa and the Park at Jægerspris in Denmark.
