HAREWOOD END, HEREFORDSHIRE
FOR THE DUCHY OF CORNWALL
KEY PROJECT INFORMATION
The practice was responsible for the restoration and conversion of the entire derelict Harewood End Estate outside Hereford. The work included the conversion of Home Farm, Grange Farm, St Denis’s Chapel and the adjoining 18th-century stables into a mixture of housing and work units, together with the restoration of the surrounding park landscape. Designs were also prepared for a replacement country house on the estate as the original 18th-century house had been demolished in the 20th-century. Two separate designs for the principal house were given consent, but neither were built.
